Rescheduling & Cancellation Policies

• 1st Reschedule:

If notified 16 hours prior to the class start time, rescheduling is free of charge. Within 16 hours of the course start time, students are subject to a $25 fee for BLS. For advanced courses, students are subject to a $50 fee.

• 2nd and Following Reschedule:

If notified 72 hours prior to the class start time, students are subject to a $10 fee for BLS. For advanced courses, students are subject to a $25 dollar fee.

Within 72 hours of the class start time, students are subject to a $20 fee for BLS. For advanced courses, students are subject to a $50 dollar fee.

• Cancellations:
  If notified prior to 16 hours of the class start time, the cancellation is free of charge with the exclusion of processing fees (discretionary). Within 16 hours of the class start time, the class payment is non-refundable.
  We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you have adequate time to find the office.
• Arriving Late:
  Arrival 10 minutes post-class start time, whether online or in-person, we will ask you to reschedule and the respective rescheduling fees will apply.
• Skills:
  It is our duty to ensure if you do receive a CPR certification, you are able to adequately perform these life-saving skills.
  We understand that some of you will need accommodations which we will work with to the best of our ability. Ensure to notify us prior to your arrival of any necessary accommodations so we may be adequately prepared.

Testing:

A minimum of 84% must be achieved to pass. You are able to use any notes taken and provider manuals purchased.
Remediation:
If you do not pass the hands-on demonstration or fail the exam considerably beyond the 84th percentile, we will ask you to review your notes and return to class for a retest. The first remediation is free. If you fail a second time, you will need to pay for another course.
Certification Cards:
Your certification cards will be completed within 4 hours post-course for the AHA. If you do not receive them within this time frame, send us a message!
No call/No show:
No refunds are given. This consists of no prior notification through text, call, or email of your absence prior to the class start time.

Class Policies

• Arriving on Time:

We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you have adequate time to find the office.

• General Policies

Initials vs Renewals:

Initials – Students who are taking the course for the first time or expired past 30 days.

Renewals – Students with an active or “Expired within 30 days” card. You must submit a copy after you register.

• Age Limit:

14 years, any minors must have their legal guardian on the premises throughout the course.

Booking a Course:

All bookings must be completed through our website and are by appointment only. Full payment must be made before your reservation is complete.

Replacement Cards:

For any legal name changes for past certifications, BLS is $20, Heartsaver is $25, PALS and ACLS are $30.

No Recording:

No audio or video recording in any form during our classes.
